Coconut Grove in Miami is one of the coolest neighborhoods in the world - but don't take our word for it: a recent Time Out poll on the globe's 51 hippest areas placed it at #29. This won't be news for residents of Vita at Grove Isle, though, who're already used to enjoying a slew of bars, restaurants, bookshops, markets, and more. The perfect morning begins with a perfect breakfast; after taking a dip in Vita at Grove Isle's bayfront pool, head out to one of the neighborhood's excellent coffee shops. Time Out praises Panther Coffee as a place for the "serious" coffee lover—somewhere you can sip a cup of brewed-to-order single origin. Be a devil and pair it with a Nutella croissant. And if you like to accompany your morning Joe with some reading material, independent store Books & Books will fix you up with something un-put-downable.
A Spot of Retail Therapy
Time to revel in Coconut Grove's retail scene. The newly renovated Cocowalk is a high-end shopaholic's dream; pursue chic sportswear from Sportive and must-have sunglasses from Edward Beiner before treating yourself to a manicure from Glosslab. The food shopping in this part of town goes above and beyond too—on Saturdays, it's got to be Coconut Grove Organic Farmers Market, which bristles with fresh fruit, veg, grains, and seeds to use in your condo kitchen—as well as vegan sushi and sorbets to devour there and then.

Coconut Grove is a constant feast for the eyes—whether you're taking a casual stroll through the parks along the Commodore Trail or taking in artworks across the sprinkling of galleries on the monthly Coconut Grove Gallery Walk. Speaking of art, every February, the Coconut Grove Arts Festival comes to town; as one of the largest outdoor arts festivals in the US, it offers live-painting muralists, kids’ workshops, plus thousands of pieces of art you'll want to take back to your Vita condo.
Drinks, Dinner...and into the Night
Every evening in Coconut Grove is different. Gorge on conch fritters and frozen piña coladas in the tiki huts at Monty's Raw Bar. Grab a barrel table at the homey Happy Wine and feast on Manchego and charcuterie washed down with a glass or two of rioja. After that, Coconut Grove is your oyster—from live music at the Bayshore Club to live comedy and craft IPAs at The Taurus, you'll never tire of living in this ceaselessly happening part of town.
